On 7/18/57 KENNEY was advised of the transfer of SOBLE to West ye Jail at NYC, and of SOBLE's adverse reaction. KENNEY stated that he had no knowledge that this transfer was pemanent, but that when ne had requested an official of the Bureau of Prisons at Wash on, Be, a few days ego to have SOBLE brought to NYC on 7/19/57, he was reminded that SOBLE was supposed to have been sent to Danbury for one week only in order to rest. While SOBLE's reaction was brought to KENNEY's attention, no recommendation was made as to where SOBLE should ept. The Bureau will be kept advised of developments.
