She wanted to know the Bureau's policy relative to looking for Mies Gandy
missing persons, stating the Congressman had received a request from
one of his constituents involving a boy who has not been seen for tex
years.
- oy I told her the Bureau was unable te conduct active investi-
‘ gations relative to missing persons, but pointed out how we could in worthy
cases put stops in the Identification Division and, when space permits,
pictures in the FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin.
Miss Krismer stated she had believed the above was our policy,

but merely wanted to-check and make certain of this fact vefore answering
the inquiry the Congressman had received.
