SreT TX that the financial contri button is of minor interest te us. The major fact is your active ceoperation with our Comutesione™ (9l-1-2061-246) On the basis of President Louwage's statement, more than $3,000 annuaily are groundless. It is further noted that in the financial report prepared by Duclour for the June, 1950, Annual Assenrbly, — he submitted ao chart listing the comparative contributions made by certain countries to varteus international organizations. That chart seta ferth the contributions mwade by the United States, France Belgium, and Cuba to the Food an@ Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, International Bureau of Weights and Measures, Internati onel Health Organization; ete., contrasting then with the amount calculated for the International Criminal Police Commission, This chart indicated that the United States should be poying 29,000 Swiss francs (approrimately $7,000) te the ICPC. This amount is even more than that previcusly mentioned by Ducleur and is prcbably based on the increased population of the United States since 1940. Of the total 113,500 Swiss francs spent by the Commission in 1919 the largest single item wos for "Expenses of mission and representation abroad of the Executive Committee, the General Assembly and the General Secretariat." 4 detailed account of this sum has never been made to the Annual Assenbly delegates and it appears that the ICPC wastes a considerable amount of money tn holding Erecutive Committee meetings in various epas of Eurepe. _ (4) He Advantage to Bureox Wo material advantage has accrued to the Bureau beccuse of its membership and no valuable information af ee SANET
