Frazer of the State Department, ephone — extension 3752, contacted the writer and adytsed that tn. connection with some matertal we had furnished hin previously for a publication they were preparing on the various inter= notional orcunizations tn which the United States participated, he was destrous of finding out whether or not the Bureau could determine the amount of the budget for the¥ITCPC for the current fiscal year. Accordingly, he was advised that from the best information avatlable to date, which was’ furnished by our Paris representative, the eroenditures for the ICPC for the period from neal January J thru Seotember 30, 199 were 16,000 Based on the above ficure it was exvected that the czpenditures for the year would be approzimately 322,500 and that the formal budget for the fi scal ‘year 1950 had not yet been approved but it was anticipated that it woulc be the same as in [fiscal year 1949 bucget.
