it is noted that this letter was written two days after Eisler's
Second entry into the United States an Ootober 4, 1955, at New York City. ‘The
Imaigration records reflect that Eisler stated on this second trip that he was
destined to the "Hew York school for Social Research” and that he intended to
Fexain in the 2 United Btates for a period of six months. Eisler actually left
in December, 19355.
