SY BIONESE WAR COUNCIL TERMS OF MILITARY/ POLITICAL ALLIANCE Our commitment to the revolutionary struggie for self- determination for all oppressed people and races and the 4nternational proletarian revolution is total and fully uncompromisable. Therefore, any alliance the Symbionese War Counc4l] has with any group or organization is based on active military/political commitment to the goal of gaining freedom for all oppressed people and races. 1. The alliance of the Symbionese War Council with any group or organization is based upon a firm decision to fight as well as talk in the people's interest, and once this commitment is clear then we can come together in order to: &. Collectively develop a common atrategy. b. ‘work together to develop tactical coordination. c. Assist each other in developing the abilities and talents of all the members of the Symbionese War Council and to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the leadership in order to meet the constantly changing conditiona of revolutionary struggle. 2. Command positions on the War Council are subject to the approval of all members of the Council and are based upon military/oolitical thinking, courage, determination, intelligence, apgrressive initiative ana the ablility of the presented officer to work with others in the interest of freedom for all people and races. Command positions are not based on who one knows, the group or organization one belongs to, one’s sex, one’s age or one's color. 3. Pepresentatives of any group or organization who are truly committed and in agreement with the goals of the Symbionese Liberation Army and these terme of military political alliance may be presented to the War Council; however, the oresented officers’ membership is not con- firmed until it 1a verified that prior to presentation for membership, & combat ection has been carried out by that group or organization within the last 12 months. 4&. Combat units muet select two persons, one female and one male (if possible), who have full responsibility and authority to act and represent their group or organiza- tion and who will hold a leadership position under unified command on the Symbionese War Council. pn mo919% 7; C7 RN
