He stated he backed into a parking Space some distance away and could not observe further activities of the three individuals, Se . ao After a few minutes, SHEPARD drove back into a position where he could observe the red and white van, however, the yellow and black vehicle was fone, SHEPARD attempted to Locate that vehicle by driving around in the vicinity and .- finally stopped at a private residence, address unrecalled by SHEPARD, and telephonically contacted the Inglewood Police Department and reported the events to an officer, mn, Later, he left that residence and went back to the ‘ location of the red and white van which was now apparently in the custody of either police or sheriff's office personnel, He spoke briefly with officers and proceeded in the direction of Mel's Sporting Goods Store on 115th Street. Near 115th Street and Cimarron he spotted the yellow and black vehicle he had seen on Ruthelen Street.
