KHER Fie. CV 7-1094 5. BILL HARRIS or JOAN (LNU) went to a loca! stor to buy cake ingredients and the dinner was prepared, and the whole group ate at about 7 p.m. An article appearing iff "The Rolling Stone” regarding "Death Row Joe" and —- ; PATRICIA HEARST was discussed at dinner with much amusement and deriston. After dimmer an intense discussion took ; place among WEINER, PATRICIA HEARST, EMILY and WILLIAM HARRIS & and MICKI SCOTT. JACK SCOTT had gone upstairs to sleep and JOAN (LNU) was not present. They were all seated at a table with the exception of MICKI SCOTT, who was lying on the floor with Sigmund, the German Shepherd dog. EMILY HARRIS was the leader of the discussion and told WEINER he was there because JACK SCOTT and MICKI SCOTT "needed someone to. back them up as support for them" in the New York City area. One of the group asked WEINER how he could help them, and WEINER responded that he did not know how he could since his time was taken up with a full time job and he had no money. WEINER told them he was not oriented toward violence, nor tome was he a "gun carrier’, The others stated they understood : his position but that they needed his support ‘above ground”. At this point, PATRICIA HEARST told WEINER he could help them by using what he learned in school such as altering documents and things of this nature. WEINER was told by one of the others present that he could help PATRICIA HEARST and the HARRIS’ by helping JACK and MICKI SCOTT. oes etme perme tenet WEINER recalls that during this conversation, i PATRICIA HEARST told him the kidnapping was "for real". . PATRICIA HEARST never referred to her father as dad or father~ but called him “RANDY". PATRICIA HEARST only referred to her mother with extreme contempt and hatred. During the conversation someone mentioned that PATRICIA HEARST’s mother was in the hospital according to the news media. PATRICIA HEARST then stated it probably was because she was drunk and fell down and broke her arm. PATRICIA HEARST scoffed that the State of California could have given a great deal of money in the Food Distribution Program right after her kidnapping. During the evening, WEINER told PATRICIA HEARST. he had seen the famous photograph which had appeared in the news media showing PATRICIA HEARST in arnay fatigues standing with a shotgun in front of the SLA seven-headed cobra symbol. _ PATRICIA HEARST told him that was her in the picture, and : PATRICIA HEARST corrected WEINER by stating that it was an _automatic weapon she was holding and not a shotgun. 1 GO ne Ce ee i ge CN SRN pS tN pry tn Te er
