VY 7-1094 ry “volkswagen Sedan with a New Jersey license tag. aie). WEINER, JACK and MICKI SCOTT departed for the Pocono Mountains in the red Volkswagen at about 1:30 p.m. on July 2, 1974. At about 4:30 pem., WEINER and the SCOTTs arrived at a two-story farmhouse near Scranton, Pennsylvania. Just | prior to arriving at the farmhouse, WEINER observed a road sign that read "Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania", Upon arriving at the house, a white female was observed on the porch and she was introduced to WEINER as JUDY (INU). JUDY (LNU) greece WEINER warmly and they all proceeded to enter the house. ‘ At this point, WEINER was introduced by JACK SCOTT to a white « female named SUSAN (LNU), a white male named ALAN (LNU), and an oriental female named JOAN (LNU). WEINER flashed imaediately | on SUSAN (LNU) as being PATRICIA HEARST, but he did not : immediately recognize or know the true identities of JUDY (LNU), ALAN (LNU), and JOAN (LNU). There was a tenseness in the room at this time and the group engaged in idle "small talk". An unrecalled person in the group suggested that they take a walk behind the house. Everyone at the house, inc uding Signnnd, the SCOTT's German Shepherd dog, went out behind the house for a walk. The group divided into two sub-groups, the makeup of . which WEINER could not specifically recall. The groups walkec. behind the house to a body of water which WEINER believed to — be either a lagoon, lake, or river. General conversation took place during the walk, which lasted approximately twenty minutes before the two groups neared the rear of the farmhouse. At this point, JACK SCOTT told WEINER he wanted to talk with — him and WEINER, JACK SCOTT, and MICKI SCOTT went off alone behind the house while the other individuals entered the house. During his walk with JACK and MICKI SCOTT, WEINER was asked by JACK SCOTT "do you know who those people are?" WEINER responded "are they who I think they are?" JACK SCOTT responded "yes", and JACK SCOIT stated that SUSAN was PATRICIA HEARST, ALAN was BILL HARRIS, and JUDY was EMILY HARRIS, — _WEINER could not recall whether JACK SCOTT at that time told thim the true identity of JOAN (LNU), the orfental female. ‘c+ ‘ ae cre) 2p NEE Sy POR et ee Be IE aT Bie 2 Ng oe og Ea NEN fog Fe ay ge ae See ce a TR gre Sead Se
