whith was one of the twenty dollar bills of the ransom money. On .
tne same day, , WESTERN AUTO CAPANY, 3736 Grand, t
furnished the same agents with a twenty doliar bill, Serial Number
G:1826262A, which was also one of the twenty dollar bills of the
ranson money. Both of these bills are being maintained as evidence,
advised that the twenty dollar bill he furnished Bureau Agents
had keen received by him from in payment of a bill he had with
his company.

During a re-interview of aT LACLEDE CAB driver, lone
GP eavisea that he recalled that during the period between the >
tam he picked HALL up at the tavern at 3225 Morganford and the time
that he tock subject HALL to BROWNIE'’S TAVERN, he had driven HALL on
Gravyoiz towards downtown St. Louis. HALL asked him during this ~-
time where he could send a telegram and SP +014 him the main office
at Ninth and Chestnut. When in the immediate vicinity of WESTERN
UNION OFFICE, HALL suddenly changed nis mind and stated he did not
want to send a telegram, During the same re-interview,
identified the trunk and feot locker which he took out of the Arsenal
Soreet address for HALL to be identical with the two specimens
procured by the St. Louls Office from the Broadway Army Store
whera HALL purchased the original bags in which the $300,000 which
was recovered was found.
GP estimtea the weight of the two pieces of luggage which
he placed in his cab as weighing approximately 75 pounds and noticed
that they were quite heavy when he carried them to the cab. Regarding
the transfer of the bags from the trunk of the LACLEDE CAB to the
trunk of the ACE CAB, stated that HALL took the heavier one
from the trunk of the cab and the one from the front seat,
pitting same on the street.

HALL watched very closely to make sure the bags were safely trans-
ferred to the new cab. estimated that HALL pulled away in
the ACE CAB at approximately 3 p.m. MMMM identified JOHN HACER
