HALL stated that about a week before the kidnapping, he rented a green Ford
Sedan from a rental agency in the 200 block of Seventh Street, St. Joseph, Mo., in
BONNIE HBARY's mame, and used it on several trips to Kansas City to case the GREENLEASE
kitneppings Es stated the reason he-rented this car wee because he was afraid that
they would notisa the Plymouth steticen wagen amd he did not want to attract suspicion
to Eko as he desired? to use it during and following the kidnapping. . 7
With respect to TOM MARSH, subetgquent investigation has disclosed that this

Conosrning TOM MARSH, the alleged accomplice and mur derer of the victim,
HAL! atated hoe firgt mt this individiwal in a tuvern, the Keg Tavern, which is located

would tes willing to gc on anything that big. HALL stated from that time on, he and
MARSG had numerous conferensea and planned the GREENLEASR kidnapping. He stated
that on some occasions they would sit and talk in either the Plymouth station
wagen of BONNIE HRALY, or ait end talk in the 1942 or 1950 two door gray Chevrolet

told him he waa residing at the Lasalle Hatel but denied that he had ever contacted
or visite® him at this hotel. HALL claimed that all subsequemt contacts with MARSE,
afer MARSH agreed to go in with him on the GRRENLEASE Kidnspping, took place around
Union Station, generally in the east parking lot where thoy would stop and talk over
the plan and oecasicnally they would go up on the Liberty Memorial Mall to discuss
24 tneiy plans for the kidnapping.
