F, Grady, wife of the former American Ambassador to Greece, was chairman of the Arrangements Committee. CHARGE #l ....That Pat Brown is a "leftist" because his name was used in connection with a banquet given by a "Salute to Young America Committee", a Communist-front organization. THE TRUTH This accusation is based solely upon a report published in the "People's World" under date of November 7, 1945, announcing a "Salute to Young America" banquet, and listing District Attorney Brown as a member of the banquet committee. The use of District Attorney Brovm's name was entirely without his knowledge or authorization. Mr. Brown never appeared at the banquet which he allegedly sponsored.
