Investigation of said organlzation by the Los Angeles Office, which was closed on April 19, 1943, reflected that in 1946-47 and 1947~48 all the officers of the Free Italy Society were members of the Communist Party. Further, that as of the time this case was closed there were only ebout twelve members in the organization.
