UNIT ~* deg! hye SREP hi ORIGINAL T@ LARSRarteRy ~ The above-mentioned handwriting specimens were obtained from HAMPTON while he was being interviewed in connection with instant case and the letter was in his possession at that time and is being forwarded inasmuch as it is believed that it presents ° a better specimen for comparison since HAMPTON appeared to be trying to disguise his handwriting while writing the specimens 1 - &b. 7 It is requested that the Laboratory compare the handwriting sub- mitted herewith the the handwriting appearing on specimens Ql, QR ar submitted in connection with this case formerly entitled, "JOHN-ROGERS; Mrs. FRANCES PERKINS.
