preliminary sketch of the shooting scene for the oting_inguiry
team to assist them in their interviews. and eparted
Miami for return to the Bureau on 4/14/86. coordinated
the aerial photography of the scene with Bureau pilots from the

Aviation & Special Operations Unit who had flown to Miami from the
Bureau. Aerial photographs were taken using the Bureau vertical
aerial photographic aircraft. Aerial photographs were taken on
4/13/86 and on 4/14/86. The Bureau pilots departed Miami on 4/14/86,
for their return to the Bureau.
The MDPD completed processing of the vehicles on 4/13/86, bt
and turned these vehicles over to the Bureau. SAs —
and Giana continued the processing the vehicles
on 4/13/86 and 4/14/86. Additional blood and trace evidence was
collected for examination by our Laboratory. A detailed trajectory
analysis was made in order to establish the position of the shooters
at the time of the incident. Additional photographs were also taken
at this time for inclusion in the shooting incident administrative
report.
On 4/14/86, sa GP attendea a briefing of all MDP omicide ©
detectives, mobile crime lab personnel and laboratory perso
involved in the shooting inquiry at the MDPD.
from the Dade County Medical Examiner's Office, who conducted autopsies
on SAs Grogan and and Matix and Platt, was also in attendance.
SAG met with Simin <:!.- Laboratory
Bureau who advised SA that their laboratory would cooperate
fully with our Laboratory in helping to resolve any issues relating
to this shooting. SA also met with the following laboratory
personnel who are coordinating or examining evidence in this matter:
