The field offices of the Bureau of Investigation act as the investicative arm of the United States Attorneys in the various juris- dictions, performing all of the investigative work required by said United States Attorneys requisite for the prosecution of cases coming under the classifications specified above. She Bureau's personnel consists of Gt specie Agents, 73 wok Special Accountants, 75 employees of the Division of Identification and ae Informetion, technical and clerical, etc., 63 employees at the seat of ao Government, ‘/asnington, D. C., and 105 clerical employees in the field.
