plight. Though thousands of their young men are wearing the
uniform of our country, most of the sharecroppers are still .
bound to the land, ‘The rising cost of staple comnoditics has #
more than negated the slight rise in prices they are receiving ©
for their products. Their efforts for 4 political voice in our

recent defeat of the Poll Tax repeal bill. . -
