I have heard nothing unfavorable regardingb7C Per BOC his moral conduct, drinking habits, personal standards, or attitudes at any tixe. As far as being a stable, emotionally mature young nan, X think that he is. However, because my contact has been limited, I just do not know how he would be able to diagnose and respond to an energency or critical situation. He appears to be the type who could do this but- I just have no way to base an opinion on this. Therefore, I do not feel that I am qualified to comment specifically on his abilities which are ‘ needed: for oa sensitive and critical position with the Governuent. I have no reason to question his loyalty or patriotism as he is a member of a well recognized religious orgenization. Because of his extended service in the military, I have no reason to question his loyalty or patriotism to our country. From the general standpoint of his character, I would recommend hin for a position of trust and responsibility within our Federal Governzuent. b6 Per BOC b7C Per BOC X have known for approximately twenty years. We attended together and XI was one year ahead of him in high school. S f recall, he left high school before graduation.3 During the tine he was here during his high school carcer his personal character ond conduct . were fine. We seered to be honest wth good integrity. Of course, hep, Per BOC seems to be more mature. I have met his wife but XI do not recall herpiyc per Roc nome. They have one child. ‘This was when they first returned to this area in November of 1970 and I have had no social contact with the family since that time. I have seen____la few times when he coxes into the drug store dut have had no chance to converse on a lengthy basis with hin. Generally, he appears to be trustworthy and responsible and able to handle* whatever would arise. However, because I have had no close association with him for the past twenty years, during the period of his military service, I do not feel qualified to coment on his ability to progress in a job, or his characteristics pertinent to any position for which he applies. This would be on a specific nature. I do fecl that he is a loyal American citizen or he would not have given so many years of his life to military-:service. He has never “expressed @ radical or unfavorable view~ point about our Government to ny. Knowledge. poe . Generally, I would recommend hin fron the standpoint of character ‘end reputation for a position of a very sensitive nature handling informa- tion involving the Federal Government. t oe , ' so : 4 DB Cooper-7214 Property of U.S: Cie Service Commisdos.
