On November 28, 1971, an intensive door to door
canvass being conducted in the area previously designated
as a search area for the hijacker. In the course of these
contacts, an individual in the Yacolt, Washington vicinity
advised that a two-seater grey Cessna airplane aroused her
area. This areas ahis plane hae has 3 gery Large red light on the top of
the tail and it was described by individuals who had seen
it as “abnormally large" for a plane that size. Further,
this plane was flying in the vicinity of the small air
strips on the night of November 24, 1971, and never made a
landing and it was dark at the time. The plane made a
number of passes over various locations in that vicinity
with its landing lights on as if it was looking for some~
thing.
Also information was developed that a car, make
and model unknown at this time with an unknown license plate
was parked on a road in the vichity of the location at which
the aircraft was making the night passes on November 24,
and also on November 25, 1971.
Information has been developed that the partial
reqistration number of the gray Cessna is[ |ith the b6
numerals not recorded and unknown. g b7C
