probably out of the Portland, Oregon
area. This plane has a very large red light on the top of
the tail and it was described by individuals who had seen
it as “abnormally large” for a plane that size. Further,
this plane was flying in the vicinity of the small air
strips on the night of November 24, 1971, and never made a
landing and it was dark at the time. The plane made a
number of passes over various locations in that vicinity
with its landing lights on as if it was looking for some-
thing.
Also information was developed that a car, make
and model unknown at this time with an unknown license plate
was parked on a road in the vicnhity of the location at which
the aircraft was making the night passes on November 24,
and also on November 25, 1971. DB Cooper-183i
Information has been developed that the partial
registration number of the gray Cessna is
numerals not recorded and unknown.
