Training The NCAVC staff participates in numerous training functions throughout the year. The NCAVC is represented at major law enforcement conferences such as the International Association of Chiefs of Police and National Sheriffs Association. Staff members take part as attendees and speakers at symposia sponsored by such organizations as the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children, Academy of Forensic Sciences, International Homicide Investigators Association, American Bar Association, and the Academy of Criminal Justice Science.
