sources report attendance may reach 30,000. Participants in
pest demonstrations by this group have always been peaceful and
no trouble is anticipated,

"Pconle's March"
The Peoples Coalition for Peace and Justice (PCPJ)}
and the National Peace Action Coalition (NPAC) and other supporting
groups are sponsoring a demonstration to protest the "escalation"
of the war in Vietnam. Demonstrators are scheduled to assemble
at the Ellipse at 11:00 a.m. and march to the Capitol for a rally
at 1:00 p.m. The route of the march will be via Constitution
Avenue, It is anticipated that this rally will last until —
5:00 or 6:90 p.m. We have no firm figures for attendance.
Sponsors have indicated they would be happy if "tens of
thousands" attend. A survey of public transportation indicates
that these facilities may bring as many as 10,000 persons from r
— to the deronstratigon
Sylvan Theater MNemorial Service
theCiergy. and Laymen Concerned About Vietnam and the
Vietnam Vetcrans Against the War (WVAW)~ are seéking a permit for
the use of Sylvan Theater from 8:00 p.m, 5/21-4:00a.m. 5/22 for
amemorial service to protest the war. Following the service
2 candlelight march is planned from the Lincoln Memorial across
Mernorial Bridge to Arlington Cemetary. We anticipate partici-
pants in this service taking part in demonstrations at the
Pentagon early Monday morning, 5/22/72,
