On October 13, 1971, Special Agents of the
~ FBI observed Kaney and approximately 22 other individuals
(18 young people and three adults) as they assembled in front
of the Federal Building between 4:28 p.m,, and 4:45 p.m, Fron
4:45 p.m, until 5:30 p,m., they conducted a walking protest
march in front of the Federal Building, carrying posters
calling for an end of the Vietnam War and complaining about AL
the deaths in Vietnan,

include assistance in the counseling of active dity servicemen
towards anti-war activity through establishments known as
"coffee houses",

weild travel to Washingtoa, D. C., on October 21, 1971, for

was entitled “Daily leath Toll (Tne DDT Program in Washington)"
aid noted that, on Cutober 22, 1971, each person would visit
and explain their action to their Congressmen, Theo, during
tne afternoon of the same date, they planned to be arrested in
front of the White House, The brochure urged "no bail, no bond"
and noted that a plea of no contest would yield two days in
jail,
