On 8/21/69
ad e had been reading about
the murder of SHARON TATE/and noticed that the Los Angeles
Police Department was looking PIC DAWSON. He advised
the he knew a PIC DAWSON about when hef———Ssd|swas
attending Yale University. He advised that he met PIC at
a fraternity party and about 1966 he saw PIC DAWSON'S name
on the program of a play at the Arena Stage, Washington, D.C.
He advised that PIC did not attend Yale University but that
he was a good friend of a person whose name he could not
remember. He advised that he saw this person's name he
could not remember in a booklet put out by Yale showing
what all the members of the class of 1964 were doing. He
advised that the person's name he could not remember was
involved in acting and film making. He advised that if the
name of the person he could not remember was of importance,
he could find his name in the booklet which Yale put out.
He described PIC DAWSON as: White, male, 6',
brown hair, 25-26 years of age,
advised that as of September 1,[_]he

will have phone number
This information is being furnished to the Los
Angeles Division to furnish to the Los Angeles Police De-
partment,
