Plginly this was an attempt t enigrate the Daily Expres news service. It was an attempt to cast doubt on the Yetiability of the newspaper which had persistently and actutately reported the unfald- - ing of the Maclean-Burgess mystery in face of vilification and obstruction from many quarters. There was never any doubt about the accuracy of the tews in the Daily Express, Yet it was only on Monday of this week, In advance of the publication of the White- paper, that. the truth was acknowledged.
