where but London but how far the Foreign Office is likely to come into line

tumbling over each other to get overseas, so perhaps he will get what he
wants!"
The SGMedvised that no further word has been
heard from GUY BURGESS or the BASSETTS, but they promised to prowptly
notify the FBI if they receive any information concerning thie matter. They
indicated that they do not at this time contemplate further correspondence
with the BASSEITS.

advised on June 13, 1951,
that he was at apersbeeDERNeT te GUY BURGESS and his mother arrived on
April 5, 1951. MMMM etated that he had an opportunity to talk with
BURGESS at some length on the morning of April 6, 1951, prior to the time
and his son-in-law and daughter, deena, ,
left the plantation to return to Philadelphia. -

that BURGESS revealed during their conversation that he was captivated by
"a fine assortment of crackpot economic ideas, such as those advanced by
the late British economist, Professor KEYNES, holding that a country can
