As will be observed there were two Ford automobiles, one
Plymouth and one Chevrolet Coach stolen by the Barrows, which were recovered
during the course of this investigation, The approximate value of these
cars recovered is §1200,00,
UNDEVELOPED LEADS:
THE KANSAS CITY BUREAU OFFICE, at Broken Bow, Nebraska, will
check as to the recovery of the 19530 Chevrolet Coach left there by the
Barrows, and the theft of the Ford V=3 at that place on July 27, 1933.
THE OKLAHOWA CITY OFFICE, at Ardmore, Oklahoma, will ascertain
from Ed Williems the facts relative to the theft of his Ford V-8 Moter,
Number 40+310046.
At Enid, Oklahoma, will contact the proper officials of the
Wational Guard Armory with respect to the theft of the firearms stolen
there, and inform said officials that these guns are now in the Kansas City
office and will be held until all ballistic examinations in connection there~
with are completed, and that possibly they will be used as evidence in the
case et Platte City, Missouri against dre. Blanche Barrow.
The Oklshoma City office will ascertain the owners of 1933
Oklahoma license plates 75-782 and 566-629, which were found in the peseession
of the Barrows. .
THE ST. LOUIS, OFFICE at Springfield, Illinois will ascertain
from the Adjutant General of the State the location of Company 5, 129th
Infantry, and interview the commending officer of said organization with
respect to the loss of the guns listed on pages 4 and 5 of this report, and
also ascertain from this officer whether or not Colt Automatic Pistols, 45
Caliber, Numbers 572294; 257489; 505915 and 455167, as well es Browning
Automatic Rifles 252152, 66221 and 251620 were stolen from his organization,
Ascertein from the officer whether other guns, either automatic pistols
or Browning rifles, were stolen at the same time the first guns mentioned
were missed.
