B HAVIS, North Carolina-Virginia Council for Racial Justice,
well as Attorneys JERRY PAUL and BUDDY’ TIEGER, who
represented the High Point Four but who have been rejected by
subjects since preliminary hearing.

CE T-1 advised that on July 25, 1971, the rally did
not get under way until 3:45 P.M, on the pavilion of Washington
Terrace Park with LARRY LITTLE welcoming the group which
consisted of approximately 200 people, many of whom were the
usual patrons who frequent the park on Sunday afternoons for
picnicking and swimming. Thereafter, JULIUS/CORNELL took over
the microphone as master of ceremonies and 4ntroduced GOLDEN
FRINKS as the first speaker,

GOLDEN FRINKS urged the blacks to fill up the local
jail making the police feed them and turn loose chickens in
the department stores in downtown area as propaganda and

BUDDY TIEGER did not appear; however, Attorney JERRY
PAUL urged blacks to get on the jury in the up coming trial
and vote “not guilty."

Thereafter, there followed a talk on solidarity for
support of the imprisoned High Point Four by MAB¥-MC DONALD
of Winston Salem, North Carolina, and brief comments by
GEORGE DE WITT. “ -

at the rally from Winston Salem, North Carolina, were th

CE T-2 reported that an unrecalled church in Greenville,
North Carolina, brought a bus load to the rally and CE T-2
also observed 25 whites from Durham, North Carolina, wearing
badges indicating they belonged to the "Peoples Treaty
Organization."
