It was explained that this material was inadvertently sent to the FBI Laboratory and that it would be returned promptly to the Atlanta Office and resubmitted to the Georgia Laboratory for examination, This is pursuant to an existing agreement between the FBI and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) regarding the handling of physical evidence in these > cases.
