which related to the matter of negotiations leading up to te

lesding up to the January 20, 1949, agreenent by the USPC, Ine.

tions took plece on or about December 31, 1948, but that the .

thet these negotiations were handled by J. A. "Me CONE and J. M.
WAPRFIELD for Pacific Tankers, Inc., both of these individuals _
being officers of the above-mentioned organization. He stated me
