found in 1948 in a Cow carcass in Iowa. Now the Texas isolate
from 1981 appears to have been mislabeled. The Texas issue is a
big break and may narrow down the sources of the material used in
the letters. Whoever prepared the letters definitely got it from
a laboratory. There are actually a couple of genotypes sitting
in the soil in Texas, and that is too big a coincidence.
Isolating it from the soil is too complex.
