Details: On February 28, 2002, Bruce Edwards Ivins was administered a polygraph examination. Ivins is a research scientist at the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disease (USARMIID) located on Fort Detrick, Frederick, Maryland. After the anthrax attacks of 2001, FBI evidence was being processed at USAMRIID. As part of a screening process, all individuals at USAMRIID who were going to be in contact with the anthrax evidence were required to sit for a polygraph examination. Ivins' polygraph was administered as part of this screening process.
