IVINS provided the following information: IVINS identified several preparations of Bacillus anthracis (BA) Ames strain which the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) may . want to add to the "Ames Repository". IVINS also clarifie he 5 history of the samples of Ames BA that IVINS submitted to the Repository during April, 2002. j IVINS listed his Ames samples as follows: Original 1981 slant from Texas, 255414B 7800a 7800b 7737 1030 Reference Material 7739a 7739b 7739¢ Oon~aInuW WN ee we ee The last four samples listed above are spore preparations which were produced by various individuals at USAMRIID. _neterence Material 1030 is a multiple batch lot of spores produced’‘by IVINS bé [id From 11/20/1995 to 11/18/1996. Leer rere PHOGuCE p7c lot 7739a on 07/25/1997. produced [ets 7739b and 7739c on 12/08/1999 and o87S87270' lf respectively. IVINS will save the above four spore preparations ‘for future submission to the Repository. IVINS also had two additional preparations of Ames BA spores, lots 7736 and 7738, but the spores were used and are no longer available. The first four_samples of Ames/listed above were submitted to the Repository by vil, 2002.
