ante continued that in his opinion the fact that
an FBI report is in existénce on a Conscientious, Objector casts
somewhat of a stigma in the mind of the public concerning the
Conscientious Obiector, Ho stated that he believed Selective
Service themselves should conduct Conscientious Cbjector in-
vectivctions wilicut auvolving tue vepartment of Justice, which
is primarily concerned with handling criminal and security in-
vestigations of the United States. He stated that while he has
never seen én FBI report he has read many of the “fair resumes"
which are based upon FBI reports and has personally attended
many appearances with registrants before the Hearing Officers.
He stated he knows of no instance wherein the FBI has misquoted
any oral remarks or any other information obtained during the
investigation, and has no information concerning any improperly
conducted investigations. He stated that in his opinion some .
investigations developed unfavorable information which is _
irrelevant to a claim of Conscientious Objection and stated as
an example a case in which a former girl friend of a Conscientious
