TFREEJOM NOW PARTY!
The "New York Times,” August 24, 1963, Page 1, carried an article
entitled, "An all-Negro party for "64 is formed." The article related that a
national ali-Negro political party was being organized. T+ honed to run its own
slate in the Congressional and local elections in 1964. A tentative national
committee had opened offices at @&] East l25th Street, New York City.
A leaflet entitled "4 Cali For A Freeder Now Party't was mblicly
circulated in the summer of 1963 and called for the formation of a Freedom Now
Party “with an all-Elack slate and a platforr for liberation."
