A source advised December 21, 1957 and Jamary 6, 1958 that LEONARD
BOUDIN, constitutional lawyer and legal counsel for Emergency Civil Liberties
Comittee, made a speech December 20, 1957, accepting the Philadelphia Associates
as & group to work with the national organization. -This occurred at a Bill of
Rights Day celebration sponsored by the Philadelphia Associates, Emergency Civil
Liberties Committee, at the Adelphia Hotel, Philadelphis.
A second source advised on May 23, 1962 that the Philadelphia
Associates have not been active in the past two years, have no current active
menbership and do not maintain a headquarters in Philadelphia.
