group, reviewed his swmer work, in South rhiladelphia,
with JOIN (Jobs Or Income Now), and suggested various ways
in which Haverford students can surport this crganization
during the coming year.
"We and his fellow members of JOIN attempted to organize 2
depressed and unemployed area of Philadelphia so that the
people might be better able to make known their needs and
grievances. This fall he and other interested Haverford
students will work in this area, primarily with the 'day-
haul! harvest laborers.
