When questioned as to whether she or her husband were
familiar with ADRIAN LAMO, she advised that she was not. She was
shown a photograph of LAMO, again with negative results. She B
advised that both she and her husband are merely casual users of
the Internet, and she is not familiar with anyone who has the
computer expertise to "hack" major corporations. When questioned
as to whether there were any circumstances that might explain the «
telephone number appearing within the telephone records of b6 -5
LAMO, she advised that the only explanation she could offer would b7C -5
be that sometime around Memorial Day, 2002, she was contacted by
the local telephone company, Central Arkansas Telephone
Cooperative, who advised her that while c i line upgrades,
technicians had located evidence that 0 a ESP line
had been spliced into. The possible splice had occurred at a
telephone_service pedestal which was located approximately % mile
from the LJ residence. The telephone company representative
assumed that someone had_spliced into their line for access to
make calls, and advised | to review their corresponding
bills to identify any improper usage. She was able to locate the
corresponding bill; however, there were no strange or unusual
calls readily noticeable, and their bill amount was in the normal b3 -2
