For: completion of the Bureau's file concerning
matters relating to LEONARD H. STRINGFIELD, ‘the
following is set forth:
A newspaper article captioned ‘Death and
Funerals, b.R. “PAT,SBRINGFIELD; decorated war hero",
appeared in the. Cincinnati Enquirer, a newspaper of
general circulation in the @reater Cincinnati, Ohio,
area, dated June 15, 1960, reflects that LEONARD R.
"DAT" STRINGFIELD, a much decorated veteran of World
War I, and one of the chapter members of Chapter 1
of the disapléd American Veterans in Cincinnati, died
at his home; 2495 Harrison Avenue, at age 62.
This article further reflects that, one
of his sons, LEONARD H, STRINGFIELD, Mariemont,
is. known nationally for his researches into the study
of. unidentified flying objects, and holds. views on
the- subject which have attracted the attention of
thé-Federal Government. The article identified Mr.
