FRANCES SWAN MISCELLANEOUS ~ INFORMATION CONCERNING On July 29, 1954, Mr. John Hutson, Security Officer, Bureau of Aeronautics, United States Navy Department, and Commander L. fT. MeQuiston, United States Navy, furnished the following information to this Bureau. They advised that the Office of Naval Intelligence had forwarded a file to the Bureau of Aeronautics with enclosures which had been received from retired Admiral Herbert B. Knowles of South Berwick, Mine. According to Hutson and MeQuiston, Enowles resided near Mrs. Prances Swan who had been receiving messages through thought transmission. Swan approached Knowles and advised him that "flying saucers” were here to help mankind. Information received by Hutson indicated that Knowles became interested in the messages received by a ki Urs.
