Dear Mr. Hoover:- I know that you are a very busy man but do you suppose that you could enlighten me on the following subject. My name is Richard E. Guertin and I am 15 years of age and am a student at Technical High School here in Springfield,Massachusetts. Recently I became very interested in one of the most amazing dramas of our time, the phenomena of the flying saucers, In a book which I have just read, entitled "flying saucers uncensored" written by Harold T. Wilkins,the author tells of many cases and sightings of flying saucers which correspondents around the world have sent him. One story which he recéivéd from a correspondent in California, tells the story of two men who supposedly came from Vents and went to @ Los Angeles journalist in March 1953. These men did strange things which made someone so suspicious that he suppo= sedly contacted the F.B.I., which is supposed to have sent an investigator to find out what was going on,but in some strange | way the Venusians by using telepathic power or some strange faculty of prevision ddd not return to the office again. It was said that the F.B.I. was never able to find them for question- ing. I wonder if this story is true, and if you were really notified.I know of you were notified you couldn't \ tell me anyting about the incident, but I am very curious.
