Time/place of sighting: July 6, 1965, 9:30 p.m., Kiel, Comments: Due to reported data a meteor and balloon Wis. is completely ruled out. The observer was positive there was no moon, but at 9:30 p.m. the moon, being at first. Duration: Less than a minute. quarter, should have been in the southwest. The observer Number of observers: One. was positive that the object was not an aircraft because Type of observer: Woman. she can definitely identify such. Number of objects: One. Due to the available information, the case is carried as unidentified by the Air Force. A satellite is . . . a logical explanation; however, the available data does Shape: Object like a shooting star. not warrant such an explanation, the Air Force said. Dimensions: Undetermined, comparable to a star.
