SUBJECT: Report on Flying Saucers.

i. Followingere statistics regarding reports by four
witnesses while in flight in two airplanes.
2. Weather CAW. Visibility exceptionally good. Seat-
tered altocumlus 6000 fect.
3. First reportstime 1145 hours CS?. Alt. of observers
800 feet above the ground. Altitude of sauser 4000 febt Msi.
Observedeperiod - First sighted over Keshkonong, Wisconsine
Flight was observed from town of Koshkonogg to Zikhorn, Wisconsin.
This flight covered twenty-five () miles in fifteen (15) seconds,
which is a speed of six thougand ( )} miles per hour.
Ne Second reports Pine 1:30 hours CS%. Altitude of observers
thirty-five hundred feet (3500) MSh.e Altitude of saucer twenty-five
lundred feet (2500). Observation period. Observers at Hast Eroy,
Wisconsin, flight observed from Hagle, Wisconsin te Muskego, Wisconsin.
This flight covered twenty-two (22) miles in twenty (20 seconds, which
is a spped of three thousand nine hudred sixty (3960) miles per hour.
5e Flight maneuvers: First observation-saucer descended vertically
edgewise through altocumlus clouds, stopped at four thousand (11000)
feet and assumed horizontal position and proceeded in horizontal flight
from a horizontal position for fifteen (15) seconds covering twenty-
five (25) miles and again stopped and disappeared. $§ econd observation:
Observed in horizontal flight in a horizontal attitude for « period of
twenty (20) seconds covering twenty-two (22) miles. By the time the
pilot had removed his camera from the glove compartment of his plane,
the saucer disappeared and again 9 gown approximately ten (10) miles
farther along its couree after six (6) seconds making its final dis-
appearances
6. fhe first two observers were an instructor and a student, having
just taken off from Mkhorn Airport. fhe second two observers, one
being Cap't. RB. J. Southey» Wing Supply Officer end a passenger.
