Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) profiles for the genetic loci D2S44, D17S79,
D1S7, D4S139, D10s28 and D5S110 were developed from HaeIlI-digested high molecular
weight DNA extracted from specimens Q36 and K1. Based on these results, the DNA
obtained from specimen Q36 does not match K1 and could not have been contributed by this
individual.
These results will be maintained by the FBI Laboratory for future comparisons
if requested by the submitting agency. A known blood sample from the victim and suspect
should be submitted for comparison.
No other DNA examinations were conducted.

In addition to the evidence in the case, any remaining processed DNA and the
probed DNA membranet from specimens examined by DNA analysis is also being returned
to you. The processed DNA can be found in a package marked "PROCESSED DNA
SAMPLES: SHOULD BE REFRIGERATED/FROZEN". It is recommended that these
samples be stored in a refrigerator/freezer and isolated from evidence that has not been
examined.
