No other serological analyses were conducted pn the submitted items. DNA ANALYSIS RESULTS: Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) profiles for the genetic loci D2s44, D17s79, D1s7, D4S139, D10s28 and D5s110 were developed from HaeIII-digested high molecular weight DNA extracted from specimens Q36 and K1. Based on these results,. the DNA obtained from specimen Q36 does not match K1 and could not have been contributed by this individual. These results will be maintained by the FBI Laboratory for future comparisons if requested by the submitting agency. A known blood sample from the victim and suspect should be submitted for comparison.. No other DNA examinations were conducted.. MICROSCOPIC ANALYSIS RESULTS: Brown head hairs were found in the debris removed from the Q36 t-shirt. These hairs have been preserved on a glass microscope slide for possible future comparisons. A couple of miscellaneous textile fibers were found in the debris removed from the Q36 t-shirt and have been preserved in a plastic pillbox for possible future comparisons. No hairs or fibers were found in the Q37 knife. DISPOSITION OF EVIDENCE: This completes the requested examinations. Specimens Q36, Q37 and K1 have been previously returned to the New York.
