RE: "ROWAN AND MARTIN'S LAUGH-IN" CURRENT DEVELOPMENTS: Mr. of Seabrook, Texas, has written a. letter tg 3f the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) protesting the treatment afforded the Bureau in "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In' on. 3-8-71. Mr. who is not identifiable in Bufiles, sent a copy of his letter to the Director with a short personal note handwritten thereon.. The Director has noted, "Try & get a copy of Laugh-in. program for Mar. 8. H." sound. We have a/tape of the portion of the program which reflects the. aforementioned skit regarding the FBi.. The tape which is of marginal quality reflects the unintelligibility of the lyrics of the so-called "fight song' performed by the cheerleaders wearing "FBI" sweaters. In addition, the various sight- gags and captions that appeared on the screen are, of course, not reflected on the tape.
