County of Ny, in the Hall of Records Buildins. located
on Chamber St, in Nyc, were reviewed by SA
and
on 2/23/55 and were found
contain the forlowing information:
The will of JosepH F. LoEwI of Woodmere, Long.
Island dated 6/2y/40 bequeathedto ALIcE L0ewI all his
personal effects, household furnishings, utensils,
automobiles and jewelry. All of the rest of his
property LoEwI bequeathed to his executors and trustees
to keep, invest, collect income therefrom and pay the
net income to his wife, or in the event of her death,
to his children,.
LOEWI appointed his sgh, ANDREw w /LOEWI
V.Y
and his son-in-law, CHARLEs i X:EWiAN and friend,
JAy RICHARD KENNEDY, as executors and trustees of
his last will and testament. He named as successor
executor and trustee, in the order of the appearance
of their names, his wife, ALIcE; second his friend,
JOHN NURRAY, and third his friend, D. WILLIAM LEIDER.
The will was witnessed by H4ROLD I. CAM:ER, l458 E. I9th
St., Broo!:lyn, NY, and MILTON B. EULAU, 50 Howard
Court, White Plains, New York.
On 3/3l/l2 a codicil to the will was prepared
revoking the appointment of D. WILLIAM LEIDER as
