On 07/13/2000 ,Page 2 b6 b7C stated that he then went to the rear of the b6 church. then drew a map and advised that he located two. b7C doors at the rear of the church.. Istated that one door was marked private, and the other door was marked as office. said that he tried the door marked private and found that. it was locked and would not open. then tried the door marked office and found that it was unlocked, and that at a simple tug the door opened right up.. Istated that the door did not appear or look like it had been forced open or pried open. stated that the frame and door appeared to be normal. stated that he never discussed why the door was. open with Pastor Dan Johnson.. stated that he did not. speak to or see Johnson until Johnson was on the news.. Apparently there is a video of Johnson running up to the church. stated that he opened the door and that upon b6 opening it, he saw a large lump of plastic lying in the middle of. b7C the floor which was later identified as a melted exit light. stated that there was no gas can found by him in the doorway. stated that he stepped two to three feet inside the door and could see the hallway and acoustical ceiling.. stated that there was a lot of fire at the end of the. hallway. stated that he also saw a burn trail which was still burning a couple of inches high. stated that he has been fighting fires and has never seen a burn trail actually burning before.. Istated that the b6 trail began or started about two and a half feet inside the door b7C and that it was going up to the next door which estimates to be fifteen to twenty feet straiqht down the hallway.. stated that the burn trail continued to the next door which was partially burned through. stated that he then advised that an arson investigator was needed.. paaedaad xo o? passeap nou sem ay se yonwseut 3eyg peaeas enter the building, he did not venture any further.
