Details: On 01/20/2003, Richard Barrett, white supremacist who
heads the Nationalist Movement based in Jackson, Mississippi
spoke in front of the York City Hall from 9:00 AM until
approximately 3:0o pM. Barretts reason for coming to York,
Pennsylvania was to commemorate the loss of a white York police
officer, Henry Schaad, during race riots in York in 1969.
Barretts speech and visit were made on the Martin Luther King
holiday to "dishonor" King. Activities also included a short
parade which consisted of several white supremacists walking
around a one square block area. The event was attended by six
supporters/members of the Nationalist Movement. Included in the
group of suoporters was World Church of the Creator (wcoTc).
