Professional graduate education was at Atlanta Southern Dental College, completing his trainng at Emory University Schooi of Dentistry in 1946 Following graduation, he returned to Donaldsonville to resume his Father's practice He was active in civic work, Chamber of Commerce, Industrial Board, Inc. You name it, Harris did it He was also a Director of the State Bank of Donaldsonville. He moved to DeKalb County in 1955 He is a member of the Northern District Dental Soeiety, the Fifth District Dental. Society and is a committeeman of the Georgia Soclety of Denistry for Children. He has held offices in the Thomas Hinman Dental Clinic. In civic work he is President of Doraville Chamber of Cammerce and a member of the Chamblee-Doraville Business Men's Association, the DeXalb Chamber of Commerce, and Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. He is a Director of the Chamblee National Bank and President of Seminole Investment Club, and he practices Dentistry on the side. He was married to the former Miss Lucy Hoover of Decatur County, Georgia on July 30, 1949. They have two children.. William Harris, Jr... I3 and Mary Eva, 1l..
